I finally got the floor coated, it was a several day process and it's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but it looks like it will do the job. I recently threw some lighter fluid and acetone on the floor to clean up spilled paint with no issue. It's also met several dropped crowbars and hammers over the last few weeks with no affect.
I chose to use no flake despite the flake covering imperfections easily. The thought is that it would make it harder to see dropped bolts/washers etc. I did however use some anti slip into the top coat. It's basically clear sand. I had a lot of issues getting it spread out evenly and telling where it was going. It's not even, but once again, it does do the job.
I also got around to painting the walls moving in stuff and starting the organization. Putting stuff in it's place has been very time consuming, but all together rewarding. I purchased items made in the USA whenever possible.

floor work
after 15-18 hrs of grinding by hand with a 7" Makita grinder and a lot of vacuuming I finally got the floor prepped for etching and epoxy. Unfortunately it uncovered some blemishes. I was amazed at how unlevel the floor really was (and still is). To say it was wavy is an understatement. The floor was originally painted and the "hairline" crack turned out to be a bit bigger. Still not serious, but an issues non the less.
I also uncovered some voids, the most serious of is shown below. The smaller ones I didn't bother taking pics of.
I've been procrastinating a bit, and waiting for more feed back from Wolverine.
I am running out of time for good weather so I need to get the job done.

General garage work.
Being a new home owner has shown me a massive amount of undertaking. But as with most car guys my focus has always been the garage. Unfortunately this has taken away from other hobbies. but the results have been promising. The garage isn't huge (this is NY after all) but it's what most people would consider a modern 1 car garage.
At this point I've raised the ceiling to 9 ft, added insulation, put in a 100A panel with 2, 220 plugs and insulated and sheetrocked. I'm in the middle of grinding the concrete for some wolverine epoxy.
A quick before and after. I'm a bit farther along but this gives a good idea.
